What are some national or international non-profit organizations that college students can get involved in that helps people in other countries, and gives them the opportunity to travel?

i'm not completely sure, but go to your college information board. I'm sure they will give you information on what you're looking for. My neighbor joined the Peace Corps and they traveled to africa and india to help people suffering through malaria and other diseases. try searching the web and see what you come up with.
you don't necessarily have to "go anywhere" to make a change. You can make a change by donating money to an organization, volunteering in your community, go green and stop global warming. there's tons of info online just search it up.

I just want to say, that I think it's great that you are interested in humanity and taking the initiative to begin your impact.
I started out volunteering with the local Red Cross and The Medical Reserve Corp. My first of many deployments was to assist with search and rescue during Hurricane Katrina and subsequently, Hurricane Rita.
