Nail biting: How do I stop biting my nails? I have an infection!

I have gotten my second Bacterial Infection called "Paronchyia". It is caused by biting my nails. Anybody know how I could stop biting my nails? List any prodects. I am up for anything. I have tried the rubber band thing on your wrist.
