I am in a gay relationship with a guy who is 37 and i am nineteen. He's a great guy, and I really like him a lot. We have been dating for only three months but I knew him for over a year now. He gave me the key to his house. Is this too soon? When is the normal time to know that you love someone?

wow big age difference. I am the same age as you are. And in my experience as a girl, if I am dating a guy who is that much of an age difference people will tell me, you better be careful. He's experienced, etc. So yeah a guy with such a huge age difference is probably much more experienced then you are. I think it is a bit too soon. But if you feel that way, then why don't you talk to him. And the answer to your last question is there's not a time frame to when you can love someone or when to like or feel deeply for someone. It just happens. When you love someone, you just know it in your heart deep down. There's just this emotion you feel.
But if he is giving you a key to his place, then he is pretty serious in this relationship. So the best thing to do is, if you feel that this going too fast, then best you talk to him. Make sure that you two are on the same page. There's nothing worse then one person wanting more out of a relationship than the other one does. Hope it helps. :)

As long as you know him and know that you can trust him, I believe it is alright for him to give you a key. There is no real time limit that lets you know if this is too soon (as long as its not at the first meeting, kind of thing).
Everybody is different, so the measurement of when you love someone can be infinate. I say: it takes a year to really know someone, but only an instant to know that it's love. You have already known this guy for a year. Everyone will give you a different answer on how long it takes to love someone, the answer always varies... in the end, it is ultimately up to you. Your instincts will let you know <3

It's Never to soon to love someone no matter how old your are what age what gender or even what sex.if you think that he is the right guy for you no matter his age then go for it. personaly if you what a relationship with a man or even a woman go with someone your age or close but thats just me. Getting the key to someones home is totally different this means that he wants to move on in the relationship he thinks that if you two are really in love that you could live together. Is it to soon for you two? Trust your heart and follow what you think is right Do you really Love him? then go for it.
