engineering lawyer?

hey so i was wondering what do engineering lawyers do? i asked my parents and they've never heard of it, and i googled it but didn't get much information on it. so does anyone here know?

An engineering lawyer would be a lawyer who specializes in engineering cases, just like some lawyers specialize in personal injury, family law, etc.

There are a few kinds of cases an engineering lawyer could come up against. Things like negligence (if a bridge collapses or a car is malfunctioning), or contracts (a company or individual has promised to do something and isn't for some reason) or patents.
