restoring url and back button bar

The bar showing the URL of websites/stories selected with my Firefox 3.6 browser no longer appears at the top of my screen. How do I restore/install it?

If you mean what I think you mean, right click at the top of your browser by File, Edit, View, etc. Your navigation toolbar is turned off, click to turn it back on. Voila.
