im a great student and this year although im trying my best im doing badly. i usually get anywhere from A+s to B+s , but this year my grades for the quarter will be in the B- range, and will bring down my GPA drastically. i go ask for extra help, do my homework, pay attention, but i just can't do it (junior yr high school) . i have so much on my plate and i dont know what to do. will i be screwed for college if this semester i do not do well? will i eventually improve if i keep trying? asdfafasgadsdgfadadfhnfgshtyrj

you sound like you attempt to manage your time wisely. for hope scholarship, you'll need a 3.0 or higher. as long as you try your best and manage your time wisely, you'll improve. eventually, this will settle into a certain schedule in your brain and you'll become better prepared for tests. its still only the beginning of the year, you have plenty of time to work on your grades. what they say is that in the odd numbered grades, 1,3,5,7,9,11 is that you learn in all of these. in the even numbered grades, its mostly review. so next year, it should be easier for you. also take advantage of the ACT prep class opportunities. colleges love looking at those test scores.
