Where can I meet other Filipinos to chat with?

I totally love to chat w/other ppl but I'm Filipino and wanna chat w/other ppl like me from the Philippines or used to be from the Philippines. Where can I meet other Filipinos online? :)

Hi there!

There are lots of Filipino or Pinoy groups on Google search. There are even forums dedicated to people from the Philippines. Here are just a few:

From there you will just want to become a registered member and ask if anyone else uses whatever chat program(s) you use. Try using more than one program to help find multiple friends. There is MSN, AIM, Yahoo! Messenger, Skype, etc. Ask around see if there is anyone around your age that you'd like to chit chat with from time to time! :)

Remember to play it safe and never disclose your personal information to strangers over the internet. While it's great to expand your friendships and meet new people you should be aware of your own personal protection. Never divulge your full name, address, phone number, or any personal identification.

As for the above sites directed to dating, you can always seek strictly friendships, I'm sure. Many sites like that probably offer the ability to write something about yourself or fill out a few forms that would allow you to say, "I only want FRIENDS." Be smart, be safe, have fun.
