How to get over him?

Me and my boyfriend ended our relationship 3 weeks ago (he made the decision) but it was down to me that the decision was made. It's quite hard to explain, but we broke up over an argument that we'd had a week before (we'd argued over it all week) He said it made him feel unwanted and like I didn't want to be with him as I suggested a "BREAK"
He's so perfect for me, he really is. When I have broke up with exes in the past, of course I have been upset but not to this extent (and my last ex I was with for a year longer than him) We've been trying to get back together since the break up, but it's not working out at all. He's told me he loves me so much to my face (last week) but he doesn't know whether we should get back together, even though he claims he wants to.
It's hit me today that it really is over...I can just tell and it hurts SO much. I don't know what to do. I work next door to him so I HAVE to see him at least 2-3 times a week, which hurts too. My mind just isn't clear at the minute and I don't know how i'm going to get over him, I really need some advice. My friends keep inviting me out but I'm just way too upset, I just want to sit in my bedroom and think of him, and usually cry. My friend says now I just need to get over him, but I don't know how, and it hurts me so much to think I have to get over him. He's done so much for me in the time we were together and I love him so much. I feel like i'll never meet anyone who will be as good for me as he was. I actually can't fault him in any way, he's the nicest guy i've ever met.

I understand how you feel this actually just happend to me. But you have to consider things, does he MAKE you happy? Or do you miss how things use to be and how you were.. He might not be the same guy you think he is. You should try going out with friends and doing SOBER acitivites, dont have any drinking involved it'll make things worse.. trust me. Try going out to eat or something silly like lazer tagging or bowling. Trust me I know it hurts.. Just try to keep yourself occupied, join the gym or yoga lol. Do anything to keep your mind off him ! Good luck =)
