Midori no Hibi can be found on YouTube for free and has English subtitles. If you like strange anime love stories with a little bit of fighting and a whole lot of laughs then it's GREAT!
You can also watch a whole bunch of television shows for free on Hulu. Some of my favorites to watch are: Hell's Kitchen, Fringe, Burn Notice, Pawn Stars, White Collar, Human Target, and The Pretender.

I know that Fruits Basket, Bleach, Death Note, and Black Butler are all suppose to be pretty darn good.
If you have NetFlix online then even better. They have such a wide selection and will show you the television shows that they think you will most enjoy after rating a couple yourself.
