Peeps answered Sunday October 3 2010, 8:30 pm: Why don't you send him an email first and introduce yourself that way. You can say your friend had given you a few email addresses of people to become friends with and you're writing to see how he is and what-not. The email may start into a back-and-forth type deal or conversation and you can later suggest something like, "Oh, hey, do you have like a messenger that would be faster for us to chat on?"
Carry on with being friendly and then suggest you two hang out sometime once you two are doing well with that. You can get together for pizza or something and just have a FRIENDLY outing. After a few friendly dates you can express to him your further interest. You could say something about how you're really glad you've gotten to know him, that you have a great time meeting up with him, and that, oh by the way, would he might be interested in you two becoming something more? ;)
Anyway it is, stick to the now, of course, by approaching him first. Add him to your email contacts and be friendly with him. Don't jump the gun and send, "I LOVE YOU!" to him though. Just be friends. Shoot for a friendship first. That's how you can make relationships last for a good, long time. [ Peeps's advice column | Ask Peeps A Question ]
