My boyfriend is six years older than me, and I don't see anything wrong with that, either. As long as you're both adults (for legal reasons), then age is just a number. It really depends on what you mean by being on the "same level", though. Are you happy with him? Do you feel like you're both on the same level? If so, then there's nothing wrong.
