I had a cold sore like 3 weeks ago and I gave my bf a blowjob twice during that time. Today he was talking about having a sore down there on his shaft that was bothering him. He let me look at it and it looks a lot like my coldsore looked? I asked him if he ever got this bump thing before and he said no, never. I'm the only person who he's ever had sex ANYTHING with and I'm like omg did I give him something? Cold sores aren't like contagious to genitals or whatever, right? i told him not to tell his mom til we got this figured out because she'd be mad at me for spreading a disease to him or something

You should both be tested as soon as possible. Though it is not common for a person with a cold sore to cause a partner to have genital herpes, is is very common for a person with genital herpes to cause a person to have herpes in the mouth. I would definitly say that it is more likely that you caught something from him and not the other way around. I am not an expert of course but I would get myself tested if I were you. GOOD LUCK!! Cold sores come from a virus called Herpes Simplex Type 1.
There are also genital herpes caused by Herpes
Simplex type 2.
However, when there is oral sex and someone has active type 1, it can be transmitted to the genital region.
He should go to a doctor.
