second hand Ipod touch

hey guys i'm completely lost on this one, my Itouch isn't syncing with Itunes at all I've reset all the settings. the only other thing i can think of is deleting all content and trying fresh but i don't even know if that'll work... thx for the help in advance

also Itunes is completely updated so it isn't that.

Someone says the fix may be as simple as reinstalling iTunes and Apple Mobile Device Support. I don't suppose that would be a big problem for you to try out.

Here is the minimum requirements you need for your computer to be able to sync with this iTouch anyway:

The last thing you can do is to restore the iPod. If you're able to, get all of your music off of the iPod touch first or backup the data onto the computer. Here is further reading on restoring your iPod touch:

Finally, it may need repairs. If the interface is fried out from something then it might just be time for a replacement or to send it into Apple for repairs.
