NC drivers license

Question Posted Wednesday September 15 2010, 10:14 pm

Ok well i just moved from indiana to North Carolina. I know you have a month to change your license over. I am 17. Well long story short i was supposed to go to high school but indiana's credit system didnt match up to Nc's and i ended up two years behind here. So i decided to go for my GED. I know that it is a law here that you have to be in school in order to keep your license if your under eighteen. Since im not in high school will they take it away, or will the let me keep it since im getting my GED and starting college in january?

That's a question for Indiana's DMV. Go there or call them and ask them what their law say. Or visit them online. You can email and ask specifics about your situation.
