i'm doing a paper for health about weight loss and how anorexia and bulemia can destroy the body. i want to do some links to some websites( i'm doing a powerpoint too) and i want to have the websites where the people post online how much they've eaten and how much weight they've lost and stuff like that. does anyone know what those are called?

Those would be consider "proana" "promia" and "proed" websites. A quick search of any of those terms should pop up with something about what you're looking for.

You could also Google something like pro-ana, pro-mia, pro-ed, pro-anorexia, pro-bulimia, and pro-eating disorder to get the same results. These websites may be quite graphic though in their tones--photos and harmful instructions.

A lot of the people on those sorts of pages are mentally ill so please keep that in mind. Many times they convince themselves of VERY untrue things (like that a special food has no calories or that 100lbs is really fat). Many of the sites can actually be quite convincing that this behavior isn't harmful so try to limit the amount of time you're researching these if you have ever dealt with an eating disorder or body-image problems. You are more important than any sort of school paper.

Note that searching for "weightloss websites" is probably not going to bring you to these horrible sites of mentally ill persons who are destroying their bodies by starvation and severely restrictive diets. This is not about weightloss, health, or even beauty. The problems are mental, not physical, and they use "weightloss" as a method of self-harm. In the end, the problem isn't their weight at all.
