when like you wake up with a bad pain in ur neck (the part where you turn your head)and put your head back, it feels like its strained and it hurts. What is the best thing to soothe it? a heating pad? ice? should i turn my head to that side? should i try to crack my neck on that side? whats the best way for a side of a neck like this to heal? thank you

Hey there I have this problem currently with my neck on the right side. Ice your neck and put a heating pad on it. Do not make sudden movements at all with it and also take advil or tylonol :)
