Question Posted Saturday September 4 2010, 11:06 pm
Well in 8th grade, I banged the back of my elbow hard on a wooden chair. I'm in 10th now and my elbow still Clicks & cracks when I move it in different ways. It does not hurt at all, nor does it affect the use of my arm. What can I do to fix it and how long might it last? I never thought much of it, but now I'm wondering if it will start bothering me as I get older. I'm kind of worried about the cracking of it. Is there any type of: stretch, massage,Food, motion, twists, pulls, hits, or techniques to stop the cracking & clicking?

It tore two ligaments in my knee, as well as chips the knee cap. The cartilage where I had fell had worn away causing it to crack, or pop whenever it moved even the slightest bit. No pain or anything, just weird sounds. Your elbow may or may not be a different case however cracking and popping, for any bone, is causing by the wearing of the cartilage. Try calcium pills, or any way to get a lot of calcium in order to build up the cartilage around the bone. This will probably help, but it will probably crack or pop every once in a while from now on. But this helped my knee popping a great deal. I hope it works for you. (:
