i got a new pair of jeans that i like a lot but they are a little baggy.. so i want to get my jeans tailored to be tighter.. how much does that cost? and i also heard that getting your jeans tailored to be tighter can ruin them.. is that true?
It shouldn't cost that much. Maybe $10? Definitely not more than the jeans themselves.
The only way you jeans could be ruined is if they have weirdly designed stitching on the sides. Because in order to tailor them the fabric on the sides will be sewn in, it would look awkward for some of the stitching to show but not all of it. I always sewing my jeans tighter on the sewing machine and they turn out fine. No one can even tell :). And besides, tailors are professional people so I would trust them to not mess up.
