thin/thick layered haircuts? I was recently at a hair salon getting my hair highlighted, and the stylist who did my hair told me I have the wrong kind of haircut. She said I have a thick layered hairstyle, when what I really need is a thin layered hairstyle. What does this mean? Is there really a difference in layers for thick hair and thin hair?
Thank you!

Well for starters, i have very thin hair. So i get long think layers, and it gives me more volume.
Thin layers are meant to thin out hair, and make it easier to contain. Thick layers are to thicken up.
Its not an exterem difference though, its just from how the stylist aims to cuts your hair.
Thick layers are layers closer together, giving the impressions of a full thick head of hair...while thin layers are more spread apart, so the cut is more dramatic ]
