Crispen_Tate answered Wednesday August 4 2010, 2:46 am: I can get that way too around girls that I like. I do this thing where my cheeks start to burn and when I talk it's like I'm trying to say multiple sentences at once. But unlike you, I only get this way if the girl begins to really show me that she likes me. In fact, I think I might have messed up my chances with a really amazing girl a few days ago by doing this. Long story.
I've gotten better about it, though. The way I calm myself down is taking deep breaths and repeating one word or phrase over and over in my head. Doesn't matter what it is, but it works better if it's funny. That way it makes you laugh and you feel more loose. But try to keep the laughter to yourself...you don't want to seem crazy, do you? ;)
Hope these tips work out! If you have any more questions, don't be shy. Feel free to ask.
