birth control i'm 19. i've been on tri-sprintec since feb/march. i've taken it at the same time every day until last week when i was at the beach on vacation and got the hours all screwed up. i still took it every day but at diff times later than i was supposed to. today i had sex w/o a condom, and had already taken my pill at the correct time. are my chances of pregnancy much greater since i didn't take my pill right on time last week?

As long as you keep taking your pills every day, and took your pill each day for this cycle-month, you should be fine. Keyword: should, because nothing's 100%. I'd still use condoms for the remainder of the month probably, but as long as you didnt completely miss a pill. I don't know about what you're on, but what I'm on (Loestrin24Fe) says that if you miss a pill, just take it when you remember and you'll be fine. If you miss 2 pills, then you have a problem and should stop taking them until your next cycle-month begins. The reason for taking it at the same time every day is because it keeps the level of hormones in your system the same; if you're off by an hour or three, it's going to be lower, but not completely gone! ]
I was told it doesnt matter what time you take it, the doctors say take it at the same time everyday so that you get into a routine of doing so but as long as you take it you should be fine. x ]
As long as you still took your pill, you should be just fine. The fact the the birth control pill got into your system means that it is still working to prevent pregnancy, even if your timing was a bit off. I would still recomend using a condom during sex, just for the sake of being extra careful, but so long as you took the pill at the right time this time, and you were getting it during your vacation, the timeing a week before wont make your chances go up any. ]
