I want to get the industrial piercing. I only have room for it on my left ear (too many earrings on the right). However, I alraedy had the industrial done on the left ear last September and had to take it out about a month after because it got infected.
So, is it safe? It healed but there's a scar from the old earring. Is it good to pierce over scar tissue? Any risks?

There really aren't any risks other than worsening the scaring if repiercing on the same spot. Be sure to keep it very clean this time around. Make sure to clean the industrial prior to putting it in. And use H2O Ocean spray, or something similar, every day for about three weeks. Always clean your jewelry prior to putting it in the first time. (I sell body jewelry at my store, so I deal with a lot of peircing questions at work - if you have anything else to ask or want clarification, just ask!)
