The DMV

What should I bring to the DMV to get my learner's permit?
I'm bringing the certificate that says I completed the drug and alcohol test and the waiver number that I got for passing the online test. I know I have to take my social security card and ID, should I bring my birth certificate too?
I live in Florida, if that makes a difference.

Yes, bring a state birth certificate (it will have the state seal on it). They won't accept the one the hospital sent (at least not in IA). Also bring a proof of address.

This page should give you all the info you need (its published by the state of Florida and lists everything you'll need to take with you).
