When does foundation makeup expire?
I bought this bottle of foundation from Walmart like 2 years ago. I only used it a couple of times and then I thought I had lost it. I found it today and it's still got a lot in it. Can I use it or has it expired? And how do you know if foundation has expired any ways? It don't smell bad and it looks the right shade.

I believe foundation lasts for a year. You know it has expired if it has begun to separate (like part of it is a clear liquid and the other part is the actual foundation). Or if it has become like thicker. I would throw it away.
Eye shadows & liners last for a year before they are at risk for growing bacteria and should be thrown away. Mascara is 3 months.

From what I've known liquid foundation should not be used after 6 months. This is because bacteria begins to grow in it. If the foundation is a powder, it lasts up to a year before it could do harm to your skin.
Also, I believe that mascara shouldn't be used after 3 months and skin care items last from 6 motnths to a year.
