i heard that if you use an eye cream early in life it will prevent you from getting wrinkles in your 30s. is that true?

Nope.

Best then you can do for your skin when you are young is avoid sun damage or tanning bed damage and not smoke.

Creams that are meant to fight wrinkles can actually cause damage to a younger person's skin and create even MORE wrinkles as they age.

Obviously, setting good habits around moisturizing, exfoliating and cleansing is always a good thing, but it won’t prevent wrinkles. Nothing can prevent wrinkles entirely. Sun damage and smoking just speed of the process. Avoid those sorts of things and you'll have a much better chance to age with grace and healthier skin to work with when you need to start dealing with the effects of aging.
