how do I make PJ pants for my boyfriends birthday?
Question Posted Friday June 25 2010, 3:31 pm
I want to make my boyfriend some really comfy PJ pants for his birthday in 2 weeks (he's turning 20). But I'm not an experienced sewer. Does anyone know of EASY online guides?? Or does anyone know the best way to do it? Thanks in advance!
Then the measurements, measure his waist, and the length from hips (or wherever they would sit) to an inch or so above the ground. Then cut the shape, and turn it inside out. Sew it using a machine. When cutting the fabric, save extra space around the edge, because you will be sewing it. Also some around the waist. You can either put elastic , in which case you will need to make the waist larger, to allow the elastic to stretch. Or you can put string, in which case you dont need to make the hips much larger. this sounds abit confusing? I say you go and buy a cheap pair, or look at a sample, and see what the design is.
