Does he just want to hook up with me? I want a relationship!
Question Posted Friday June 25 2010, 12:16 am
Ok, I've met this guy online and he's really good looking and he tells me i'm sexy and really cute. He talks about how he wishes we lived closer. We also talk about how we (along with alot of friends) should all go out camping sometime but then he said that we should get our own tent and I know that he just wants a hook up there but how do I tell him that I don't just want to hook up and I would like a relationship? When he says stuff like that, I just agree because I don't want him to lose interest.
Thank you!!! (p.s. I'm 20 and he's 19 and I'm still a virgin but he doesn't know :-/ )

Talia answered Friday June 25 2010, 1:27 am: First off I think you need to stop just agreeing with him. When he says stuff like that(like sexually or whatever) and you agree that just makes him think that you're totally okay with him saying that stuff and that when you two meet that you're just going to have sex right away without hesitation.I would just be careful because since you met this guy online you don't really know him enough personally.Fact is he probably goes and says that you're sexy and cute and everything just to butter you up(because yes it does make you feel special and yes it does make you want to please him) and get you to agree with his sexual hints. So my advice to you would be to stop agreeing with him when he hints at that stuff..hint that you would like to share a tent with everyone else.If he starts to lose intrest in you just because you're not looking to have sex then he is not worth your time...you should get to meet and know eachother first before sex is even thought of.Just be careful with this guy..I have a feeling he is more of a hookup guy than relationship guy.Another piece of advice would be to find guys personally rather than on the enternet.Guys can play you more online than in person [ Talia's advice column | Ask Talia A Question ]
