Try, without changing your eating habits, to have a journal where you write down everything you eat and the times you eat for two days. Once you have done this, look over your journal and see which areas need improvement and try to acknowledge if you over-ate for any specific reasons at those times. Before you start to change your eating habits weigh yourself. Next for three days you should cut out all carbs and eat as much protein and raw vegetables as you want. This means you literally should be eating those two food types all day! This will kick your metabolism into high gear. After the 3 days are up weigh yourself and you can lose 2-7 pounds. On the fourth day you should begin the healthy lifestyle which consists of: Breakfast: Protein & a fruit and a carb like a slice of whole wheat bread or oatmeal, Mid morning snack: Protein bar or shake, Lunch: Protein & veggies and a carb which should be whole grain try to stay away from pasta( spaghetti sqaush is an excellent substitue), mid afternoon snack: protein shake with fruit to make a smoothie( ex:strawberries)and for dinner: Protein and veggies!
VERY IMPORTANT: Drink 10 8oz glasses of water a day but no more and no less.
Exercise like cardio is perfect but not absolutely necessary: yoga, pilates etc
If you just eat this way you will lose weight in no time, keep it off, and learn how to be healthy for the rest of your life.
GOOD LUCK! [ positivelife's advice column | Ask positivelife A Question ]
