Career Options

Question Posted Thursday April 29 2010, 11:39 am

Okay So I am in high school, and I am thinking about the whole " what I want to be when I grow up" thing. Only I dont have a clue. And you can say that you have plenty of time to do it, don't worry about it now. But you have to worry about it now, because in High school you have to take classes accordingly. So are there any good websites that let you explore different carreer options? Like Nursing, to Teaching. Or working out doors what kind of jobs are there?

This is a very good website. It tells you everything you want to know about different careers, including:
*the training and education needed
*earnings
*expected job prospects
*what workers do on the job
*working conditions

It is a Dept. of Labor website, so the information is current and very helpful.

Good luck!
