Limewire viruses

hello i read your last answer about limewire not having viruses well im confused because when i asked a fry's technician they told me that 125% limewire gives viruses could that be true please help im stuck with a new computer and no musik thanks!

Yes it is true, All places that have illegal downloads are loaded with viruses. Remember, There is no such thing as completely free and if there is there is always a catch... Limewire = Free music along with free viruses!

i think it depends on the person who downloads stuff because they aren't careful with what they download.... but i HIGHLY recommend that you use Ares instead of Limewire. I used Ares for at least 3 years and never had a problem. it's a lot more basic than limewire but it's safer. heres the link
