i have this rash (pityriasis rosea) that is covering my whole body

i have this rash that is covering my whole body its called pityriasis rosea. i have been to the docyor and they said to take benadryl but that just makes me sleepy. is there any thing else i can do so kill the rash and make it go away.

There is also Benadryl sprays and creams. Maybe try putting that on during the day and take the Benadryl pills at night. That way you wouldnt be sleepy during the day and you would also be treating your rash. Good Luck!

Ugh! I had that too. It sucks! However, there's nothing you can do to make it go away faster :( you just have to wait it out. There is good news though... once the rash starts fading, it goes away really fast! They'll be gone in less than a week after the spots start going away. The big spot (the mother spot that started the rash) takes a little longer (maybe 2-3 weeks after fading?) to go away.
