DearAbby92 answered Saturday April 10 2010, 10:23 pm: I would use a medium size barrel and just try to do thick pieces of hair. You can wrap your hair around the barrel and leave the clamp closed, giving a looser look. Or you could curl it normally and shake it out and mess it up a bit, so it will loosen up. If you can get a curl enhancing spray or gel (you can get cheap ones at drug stores).
It looks like shes wearing both eye liner and mascara. She has a smudgy look all around and liner on both her water line and her lower lid. Layer mascara and use an eye lash curler. I would get two mascaras, like one for volume and one for length.
Her face is pretty natural, so try a pale blush and nude lips and there you go!
Good luck,

Edit: I'm not sure about the actual numbers, just use your eyes to help you judge. With my hair, if I use a big barrel, the curls are too loose and fall out super easy. If your hair holds curl well, choose a really big sized barrel. If not, get a small to medium one (1.5 or up should do) and let the curls loosen up naturally.
