friends and pets do they go???

Me and my friend have recently purchased a pet, we decided to share it, she has it one week i have it the other.
im worried if we were to fight the pet is going to be in the middle.
does this normally work.
anyone have any experience with this.. can u give me advice???

Personally i havent been through this but ive had friends go through this and it doesnt turn out good ever sharing things especially a living breathing animal is not good for your friendship or the pet itself because eventually problems will arise i think you should return the pet or find a different home or find some way to make sure this works out like if you were to get in a fight that you have to still take care of the pet but give eachother a turn as well basically you guys should sit down and just discuss this and if you cant come to an agreement then returning or finding a different home for it would be best.
