shopping in Philly

i'm going to be going to philadelphia in a few days and i'm wondering where the best places to shop are

i absolutely love canal street/china town in NYC

so basically what streets are filled with the venders and the knock offs, generic sunglasses and hats/cheaper stuff?

anything helps (:

*Edit: South St doesn't really have outdoor vendors, but there are some cheapish jewelry/accessory shops around. And depending on when you go, there may be flea markets in the Philadelphia area.

South St!!! It's a long street with fun shops and lots of places to eat. That, Rittenhouse Square in University City, or Center City. The Gallery at Market East.

There's also King of Prussia and the Franklin Mills Mall if you can drive.
