I'm pregnant with my first child and I'm having terrible nausea in the morning when I wake up. It completely ruins my day and I feel like I'm not getting enough nutrients for the baby since I'm so terribly ill at the beginning of the day. I was wondering if there were any natural remedies or "cures" for morning sickness?
Be careful about any "herbal" remedies. Always check with your doctor first, because some can be dangerous for the baby. Talk to your doctor about what else you can do to help with the morning sickness. [ Melody's advice column | Ask Melody A Question ]
chakra answered Thursday March 4 2010, 12:13 pm: Ginger is brilliant for nausea. Root ginger is best, but I have ginger biscuits and they are great too, and ginger tea.
Peppermints and peppermint tea is also great for nausea although i've never tried that, just ginger.
Have a look at this page too, tells you about ginger and also what you can do to ease the morning sickness.
