I'm in love with my best guy friend.

Question Posted Tuesday March 2 2010, 4:18 pm

Okay so theres this guy (lets call him Bob) that I have slowly began to really really like throughout the year. It all started out with me liking this other guy, but then I found out he liked my best friend (lets call her Trish)So I
was upset about that for a while, but then I noticed that one of my friends that I've known since 4th grade, is really cute!

Bob and I weren't the best of friends yet but we still talked to each other, and we ended up trying out for the school play together and we both got in. Thats when it started, we started talking everyday and going out with friends every weekend. He would call me and ask what the plans were and he was also in numerous of my classes during school. He plays this game that he is obsessed about and persuaded me into joining.

Turns out the game is only fun when I'm with Bob and we are playing together. He helped me get better at the game and everyday we would go on and talk on the phone. He used to not go on the game during weekdays but he started to when I joined.

He shows signs of liking me, like lying his head on my shoulder and hooking arms with me, or just the way he acts with me in general. But the thing is that he doesn't like friend relationships and he think they never work out. I agree but at the same time I think that if you don't try it out you would never know and thats just as frustrating as trying it out and failing.

Another problem is that Bob is bisexual, and I can't tell if you acts the way he does is because I'm his best friend or because he likes me. I know its hard for someone as young as me (13) to love someone, but I really do love him. If he ever stopped being my friend I don't think I would be able to go on in life.

He is very important to me but I don't know if I should tell him or not. I don't want him to react badly and like never talk to me again or go out with me for pity. I want him to like me just as much as I likes him...help?

Ok,this is a really tough situation for a teenage girl.I'm not trying to be tough on you but I think you dont love him.I know when a person is young they think they are in love but they really aren't,it's just a deep atraction you feel for the other person. If for some reason you cant understand the way that person acts or behaves,it's probably maybe because that person is not right for you. When a person finds their true love they can understand them and have a deep connection.Trust me there is going to be many boys that your going to think your in love with before you find the right one.I hope this can help you.Good luck!:)
