I got off my period on friday and had protected sex on saturday.Unfortunately, the condom broke towards the end but my partner DID pull out. There could be a chance sperm is inside me,but i don't know.I was wondering what my chances are of being pregnant?I know sperm lives inside for 3 days and I ovulate after 2 weeks.I began taking birth control on sunday night (I've never taken it before, this is my first time) So is there a high chance I'm pregnant?
You're right, you ovulate after 2 weeks. Sperm can actually last up to a week (they last a few hours in the vagina, a day or two in the uterus, and up to a week if any reach the fallopian tubes, so assume a week) so right now unless something pretty abnormal happens you can't get pregnant.
awesomeal16 answered Monday March 1 2010, 7:46 am: no there is a very low chance, if the condom broke toward the end the chances are 75% not and 25% maybe, so there is a slim chance you are prenant, when he pulled out sperm could have gotten in the vagina, but it dependson how deep he was, and if it sunk down, check yourself, or take a pregnancy test, [ awesomeal16's advice column | Ask awesomeal16 A Question ]
