iS he honestly blind about this situation??
19/female.
I like this guy, he recently turned 18. I've known him for years now and I've always had a crush on him but nothing ever came of it. We're still friends though, and we'll always have that attraction. But I always feel like I'm the one putting everything into our friendship. He barely ever texts me, he barely ever asks to hang out, he will flirt with a girl I don't like right in front of me and I act like I dont care. I mean I guess I don't really text him, only when I have a question because I don't really text people first, especially a guy I have feelings for. I am scared of rejection.
I have brought up this problem that I feel like hes never there for me, and doesn't care but he doesn't seem to see it at all. I will make a statement like "you don't know anything about me.. and how long have we've known each other?" and he will be like because you never tell me anything!! and i'll say ... well you never ask and he says well I don't know what to ask?? Just dumb things like that, or I'll be like thanks for being there for me (sarcastic) and he will be like always (being serious) and I'll say something like you better think about that again .. and he'll be like why??
He doesn't understand!! I've tried telling him so many times. I seriously don't think he thinks he is doing anything wrong. I've even come straight you and been like you never text me to hang out, you never call me .. it's like you don't care and he will go and turn it on me and be like well you never text me either, or ask to hang out and you know it!! But I feel like i'm always the one texting him??..
Ugh I don't know what to do.. GUYS!!!..
Do you honestly think he doesn't think he is doing anything wrong? I trust the kid w/everything I have and he trusts me. He actually tells me everything when we hang out (which hasn't been often) but why does it seem like he doesn't care??

You can't always expect a guy to pick up on things, Sometimes it requires being direct and straight to the point. If you want him to know you have feelings or him then you need to tell him that. Honestly guys can be completely blind when it comes to females. just tell him thats what you need to do grab him by the face and be like i like you i have liked you for a really long time. (not literally grab him by the face but im sure you get the picture im aiming for ).
