Texted him about giving my "toy" back!!

Question Posted Sunday February 14 2010, 3:27 am

Hi Lee Ann!! You actually recently just answered my question about the guy I borrowed something to and wanted it back..thank you for that by the way!:)

There are a few things you should know - i'm sorry this may be long but I promise I will return the favor.

His name is Joe .. well I call him Joseph .. i'm like the only one who does .. it's just what I've always called him!! We've actually known each other for like 4 years now, and yes I'm still uncomfortable talking to him because he gives me butterflies.. STILL. When we were younger .. well a few years ago you know how people would be like ohhh your my boyfriend, husband ... just saying it w/one of your good guy friends? Well we would always be like you're my best friend!! To this day, we still call each other best friend, but we don't really act like it.

He use to text me saying how he wanted to get w/me and we would basically dirty talk .. and he's stopped that and I wish he would start it again. I just feel weird starting it because what if he stopped for a reason? When he does it, I know that he wants it. We have not done anything sexual though .. just the really physical flirting .. and he's gone down my pants but hasn't done anything beyond that. . but that was when he would like dirty text me .. and when we use to hang out alone once and a great while.

The last thing you should know is that I borrowed him these handcuffs I had. I never used them before (he doesn't know that haha) but when he asked to borrow them I was like sure why not!! Me, being the dumb one not thinking about how he was going to use them .. but I was dumbfounded because I would honestly do anything for that kid. And please don't judge me .. people would be like why would you let him borrow that?? It's not like he is a stranger .. I trust him w/them .. so please don't judge me about that.

Anyways .. wow I'm so sorry this is long. But I actually ended up texting him tonight. I had it all planned out .. and then it ended up getting late so I panicked and this was our conversation ...

Me: Do you still have my handcuffs?
Him: Haha yes
Me: Thanks for not giving them back!! I forgot you had them until today .. and I realized it's valentines day tomorrow and you get to have them for that jerk!!
Him: Hahaha
Me: Thanks for looking out for me
Him: Always
Me: More like never
Him: Always
Me: You better check yourself on that one (I say this because it seems like I'm always the one who does everything for him .. but he's a typical guy)
Him: Why?
Me: Awe it's Valentines day! (It was like 12:30 haha) Happy Valentines Day Joseph!! Lol
Him: Haha thanks .. you too
Me: I'm going to bed .. I expect my toy back soon! Goodnight
Him: Haha alright goodnight

and that was it. I said I was going to bed because I panicked and didn't know what else to say. I honestly don't even care about getting them back .. it's basically an excuse for me to talk to him and eventually see him.. you know?? And I was kind of disappointed when he was texting me because it didn't seem like he said much .. but thats how he always is.. and how I know most guys are when they text.

I just don't know what to think from here.. Just by texting do you think it went okay? I feel like I just want him physically, which may be bad but I want him somehow!! Haha. I'm so confused :(

Additional info, added Sunday February 14 2010, 3:31 am:
And when he texted back saying "Always" after I said thanks for looking out for me.. what do you think he meant by that? Like he always looks out for me .. or do you think he was being sarcastic? Like you how someone will say ..behave yourself .. and they will say always do!! Do you think it's like that .. or in a good way? I took it as a good way but now I'm second guessing...

Don't second guess it, he means that if you ever needed a favor, he will be there. If you asked him to do something, he would do it. Theres nothing wrong with wanting a physical relationship, you probably feel that way because your already have an emotional one to him already. As far as the item of the handcuffs, I won't judge you because there are worse things people can have. I know this may sound weird but you can always ask if he has used the handcuffs, maybe say i wish you would use them with me, or even say I have a key to some handcuffs but it would seem I can't lock anyone up because I don't have the cuffs :). Those are just some ideas, once you get started, it is really hard to stop but eventually you will get use to it. Your right, guys don't always say much and to be perfectly honest he responds exactly like one of my old friends and my brother with the haha and stuff. In today's society, it is up to the woman to do all the work because when it comes to hinting, men are completely clueless. It is to say that they are completely oblivious to things outside their world.
