i break out. i used to think it wasn't so much, but i just recently realized its pretty bad. its not a lot of zits, its just they are so hard to get rid of, and in the worst places, and they hurt. when i wash my face, it gets rid of the infection, but i still have red scars. i cover those with makeup but i wanna feel good WITHOUT makeup on. how do i get rid of zits AND the scars they leave behind?
For tough problems like yours what you're needing is medicine and a prescription strength cream that burns through the bacteria, unclogs the pores and keeps acne and blackheads from coming back. Anything other than that will do nothing at all to help.
You need to see your family doctor to discuss your problem. He/she might have sample bottles on hand or can write the prescription themselves. However, most would refer you to a dermatologist if it's really, really severe to the point said specialist is needed. Most likely, they'll just write the prescription and after a few weeks your face will be nice and smooth. You do have to continue using it as a preventative measure though. Ask_Idalis answered Tuesday February 2 2010, 5:33 pm: you have to use something natural, like benzol peroxide burns my skin and leaves red marks, but I got this natural skin care stuff at the salon and it really works! [ Ask_Idalis's advice column | Ask Ask_Idalis A Question ]
Gemguy1 answered Monday February 1 2010, 8:51 pm: Try alpha hydroxy lotion, it will help in speeding up the rejuvenation process of your skin, just be sure to exfoliate (don't scrub, rub!) the dead skin away. You may want to try some magnesium and zinc supplements in your diet to squash out the infections. A diet low in these, commonly results in infections.
