I'm only 13, but I have an older sister, so I might be able to use my knowlege of her giggling on the phone to help.
Does he glance at you? Make a lot of jokes that seem targeted to you more than anyone else? Does he smile at you when you look over? Those may be some signs.
Also if he makes a lot of comments to you about your hair or makeup, usually ones meant to sound rude.
