everything is falling apart(not in right category, sorry)
Question Posted Friday January 22 2010, 6:54 pm
im 17/f and so far, from what i've lived, life sucks. my boyfriend neglects me, my friends don't get me, my family tries to help but can't, so i've made a decision to move out when i'm 19 across the country to oregon.
can anyone give me any tips on how to start totally anew, on my own?

THE-RACK answered Saturday January 23 2010, 10:43 pm: well first, im just curious..what is in oregon? but i dont suggest you move so far, because you might look back a few days later or however much later and be sad that you are so far away. you still have two years and by then i think you'll change your mind. but for right now maybe you are sure of this, so i think you have to be willing to be totally alone.. if you think you are alone now, be prepared to be even more alone. think the only support you have will be over the phone. can you handle that?
You should also be a very independent person, have a job before you move there, and an apartment obviously. Think about transportation, check out the area, local markets, clubs, salons, and everywhere you think you would need to go. have a way to make new friends, because having no way to make friends in a place where you have no one will be pretty depressing. Once you have all of that, basicaly just live your life and let time go by and maybe you'll be happy, or maybe you wont.. but I wish you the best.
