I need help overcoming depression and an eating disorder. After everything, I still think I'm fat. And I feel so alone. People care but they abandon me sometimes. I thought if I just went out with my friends I could escape this. But here I am, still in my Bell Jar.

a good way to help with depression is keeping a journal.everytime you feel saqd or need to talk write it down in the journal and dont bottle it up inside.ofcourse your friends cant always be with you thats why you need a journal.buy a really pretty book, decorate it with stickers and photos of things that make you happy and write down all that you feel....your going to be ok :) [ sia's advice column | Ask sia A Question ]

If you are, the things you brought up in your question seem like things you should bring up in your counseling sessions. If you are not in counseling, I would say you may need to be. If you have ended counseling, I suggest you talk to your counselor to see if he/she thinks you still have issues that need to be dealt with. I don't think you can or should try to deal with these alone. It seems to me that a trained professional would be able to help you overcome some of the things you have recently been feeling. Please consider counseling. I wish you the best of luck overcoming these issues. [ ellen537's advice column | Ask ellen537 A Question ]
