Making out causes puffy lips. Making out creates a cold sore???
I have coldsores sometimes but usually only when I've been sick. Well, I have this boyfriend I've been making out with every weekend and it seems like I always keep getting coldsores after we make out! WHY?! My lips get all swollen and weird after we're finished and when I wake up the next day I have a cold sore. I'm getting tired of this. What can I do to stop these cold sores from making out?!

If it was herpes I doubt it would only occur after making out. Usually people get cold sores when their lips are chapped and raw, and that's what happens when you kiss. I'd say that's where your problem is coming from. Be sure to keep chapstick on your lips as much as possible, and that should help.

get tested for herpes :-/ That's what causes cold sores. You may just have mouth sores that aren't from herpes but it sounds like it may be herpes. There's medication and stuff to treat it, talk to your doctor.
