footprint tattoo

Question Posted Tuesday December 29 2009, 9:19 pm

the story about how if there are only one set of footprints in the sand, its not that youre alone but its god carrying you is stuck in my heart, because ive been through a lot in life and i definitely was carried through some of it.

anyways, im an okay artist, so i wanna design it myself. i just need some help on figurin out how to draw what i want. i need to find a good way to make it look like my skin is the color of the sand, and the footprints in the sand arent just black but look like they are actually in the sand. plus, i dont want it an eagle eye view but kinda a view from up high but to the side.

plus, what kind of font would look go with this ?
i want to get the lyrics:

"She said, 'Help me, Lord, Help me' and she looked up to the sky, and she heard a voice reply, "When you cry, I cry. I cry along with you. When you smile, I smile. I smile along with you."

is that to many words you think?
also if anyone could find pictures that could help me draw this thatd be awesome.
THANKS !

Hey.
I really like your tattoo idea. I got a really good mental image of what it would look like. I think there may be too many words though. Maybe you could just put the part

"When you cry, I cry. I cry along with you. When you smile, I smile. I smile along with you."

I think this is the most important part anyways.
Or you could put

Help me, Lord, Help me.
Lord: "When you cry, I cry. I cry along with you. When you smile, I smile. I smile along with you."

Or you can put the whole quote. I just thought simple is better, you know? Well good luck with the image! Here is one I found.
