The Pill

Question Posted Wednesday December 23 2009, 4:56 pm

I recentely started on the pill. I know that for the very first week EVER of taking the pill your not protected. But does that apply to every first week of every new pack even after the first month?

I hope this makes sense....

Im on Alesse and my doctor said the first 2-3 months id be unprotected when I first started..
but if you mean the 1st week of every new pack.. then nope after your initial few months your good to go, just dont forget the condom, it decreases your risks :)

no it does not.
but my birth control person told me that its for the first month, so if you really wanted to be sure then dont have sex or anything for the first month.
