So I got the enV Touch around July 2009 when my enV 2 fell into a lake.
It's not perfect. It shuts off randomly and sometimes it resets the background pictures, but I can deal with that.
But today (12-14-09) I tried to send a text in class and discovered the light to when I flip open the phone doesn't turn on anymore.
The keypad buttons still light up, just not the screen light.
I have no idea why.
Anybody have any idea how to fix this?
Also, if I go to the verizon store to get it fixed/get a new phone, will it be free since it obviously a problem with the phone?
If it's not free, about how much will it cost?

Something similar happened to my phone. It would just freeze and the screen would go blank everytime I pushed a button. I took it to the store and they replaced it for free since it was a glitch with the phone and I didn't cause it too brake. [ hear2listen's advice column | Ask hear2listen A Question ]
