Loss

Question Posted Monday December 14 2009, 12:39 pm

My cat passed away just the other day. My sister told me to get over it, that its just a cat. Am I weird for feeling the way I do?

I'm sorry for your loss.

Of course its okay to feel the way you're feeling. Obviously you had a closer relationship with the cat than your sister did. As long as your not building a shrine made out of gum than I don't see the problem. Its natural to feel sad after any loss that cat was a part of your life of course you're going to feel sad. Again I'm so sorry for your loss. Happy Holidays!
