First pap

Question Posted Wednesday December 2 2009, 11:37 am

Yesterday I had my very first pap. The doctor asked when my last period was and I said two weeks ago. She asked me if I was lying because I was due for one tomorrow (today). Now I'm bleeding down there and it's bright red. My period has never been this colour and the last time my cycle was messed up was the last time I was on birth control. Could the bleeding be because of my pap, or is my cycle hating me again?

a pap shouldnt do that to you.your probibly just ovulating.i wouldnt be stressed about it.its common for girls to get their periods after 2weeks.this can be triggered by stress, type of food your eating etc.if it happens next month go to the doctor
