My friend told me she went out and did "hookah" the other night with her boyfriend. I never heard of it before but I didn't tell her that. What is hookah and what does it do to you?

Narghila is basically flavoured tobacco, it doesn't "do" anything to you because it's not a mind altering drug. When you "do hookah", you breathe in and then breathe out the steam that comes out from heating the water to release the flavour of the narghila. It's similar to a bong, but it is rarely used for marijuana, because the process with the charcoal would burn the marijuana too fast, so it doesn't make sense to use marijuana.

Its similar to "bongs" used to smoke Marijuana but it has no hallucinogenic properties. Hookah is just tobacco. Its basically just a new way to have a cigarette. Some hookahs are flavored. Its generally just a device used to smoke tobacco filled with water, cooling the inhalation for its users.
